Do you work through pain?

It’s pretty common. When people exercise they work through pain quite often. They sometimes think it’s just part of it. I’m here to tell you that it shouldn’t be…

The SAID principle. Specific adaptation to imposed demand. Essentially, it means that our brains get better at doing exactly what we do everyday. Does your knee hurt every time you do a lunge? Your brain is getting better at feeling pain when you lunge.

We get to CHOOSE what our brain gets better at. It can be good or bad for us.

I don’t want you to work less. Or to not work hard. Just work different. If a specific movement causes you pain, then do a different movement that works the same area that doesn’t cause pain!

Let me know if I can help!
