Balance…

Balance…

It’s something you hear talked about inside the fitness and athletic world. But, the most important word concerning balance that people typically don’t hear is vestibular. Also known as the inner ear.

Your vestibular system is your onboard balance system. We can focus on it and train it just the same as we can anything else in the gym. Doing something as simple as turning your head side to side or up and down will activate the vestibular system.

You have an inner ear on your left side and right side both. If you have issues with these you could have vertigo, dizziness issues, pain, movement dysfunction and many more other potential issues.

All of the nervous system works together and the more aspects of it we can train individually, the better everything will work together!
