Do we need a gym?

This was me down at a children’s orphanage in Acapulco. We were down there shooting a documentary. Those kids were amazing!

As you can see I’m doing pushups with the little girl on my back. Then they all jumped down and did pushups with me.

My point here is that our body responds to resistance and tension. Whatever that resistance happens to be. It could be a barbell, or a kettlebell, or bands etc. We don’t have to have specific tools in order to create change.

We can make crazy changes in our body never using any weights at all, but only using our own body weight.

Of course having access to equipment makes it easier to work differently and change things up so we don’t get bored. But, it’s not a necessity.

So, if you don’t have access to a gym, or if you don’t have time to make it to one to workout, or if you’re traveling, you can get in a quality workout anywhere!
